Flying Blue Promo Rewards April 2026

Mumbai is back in Flying Blue Promo Rewards, and this time the offer is significantly better.

In January, the promo gave us 25% off economy flights to Europe for 22,500 miles. This month, it's business class. KLM business class from Mumbai to Europe for 63,750 miles one-way. That's 25% off the usual 85,000.

If you've been collecting Flying Blue miles or sitting on transferable credit card points, this is one of those rare moments worth acting on.

The Deal

  • 25% off Flying Blue miles for business class
  • Route: Mumbai (BOM) via Amsterdam (AMS) to anywhere in Europe on KLM
  • Book by: April 30, 2026
  • Travel by: September 30, 2026
  • Available to: All Flying Blue members (no Extra subscription needed)

What It Costs

A one-way business class ticket from Mumbai to Europe normally costs 85,000 Flying Blue miles. With this promo, it drops to 63,750 miles.

Round trip, you're looking at 127,500 miles instead of 170,000. That's a saving of 42,500 miles.

Taxes and surcharges are separate and will be higher than economy. For reference, economy taxes on the same route are typically ₹14,000 to ₹16,000 for a return trip. Business class surcharges on KLM tend to be noticeably more, so check the exact amount when you search for flights.

What You Get

KLM flies a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner on the Mumbai to Amsterdam route. Business class is in a 1-2-1 configuration with fully flat beds, so every seat has direct aisle access.

We flew this exact product on the Mumbai to Colombia route if you want a first-hand account of what the seats, food, and service are like.

From Amsterdam, you can connect onward to pretty much anywhere in Europe. The promo discount applies to the full routing, so connecting through Schiphol doesn't add extra miles.

How to Earn Enough Miles

Several Indian credit cards transfer to Flying Blue. The best ratios come from cards like the Axis Atlas (1 Edge Mile = 2 Flying Blue miles), HDFC INFINIA and Diners Club Black (1:1), and the SBI Miles cards (1:1). The exact number of points you'd need depends on your card.

To see which of your credit cards transfer to Flying Blue and at what ratio, the Magnify app shows all of that in one place, including any active transfer bonuses.

Flying Blue sits in Axis Bank's Group B, which has generous transfer caps, so hitting these numbers shouldn't be an issue for Axis cardholders.

One thing to keep in mind: don't transfer points speculatively. Make sure you can see available promo seats before you commit your credit card points. Transfers to Flying Blue typically take up to 24 hours.

Availability Tips

Business class promo seats are more limited than economy, so don't wait too long.

The best availability tends to be midweek (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and during the May to early July window. August and September will be busier with peak summer travel.

Search directly on the Flying Blue website or app. Look for the "Promo Rewards" badge on eligible flights.

How to Book

  1. Log in at flyingblue.com or the Flying Blue app
  2. Search for award flights from Mumbai to Amsterdam (or any European city via Amsterdam)
  3. Look for the Promo Rewards badge on eligible business class flights
  4. Book before April 30

Why This Is a Big Deal

India rarely appears in Flying Blue Promo Rewards. When it does, it's usually economy.

The last time Mumbai was in a promo was January 2026, and that was economy only at 22,500 miles. Before that, June 2025, also economy. A business class promo from Mumbai is genuinely uncommon.

63,750 miles for a lie-flat seat to Europe is hard to beat. If you have the miles or can transfer them in time, this is worth serious consideration.

And as always, remember that Flying Blue miles expire after 24 months of inactivity. But any transfer from a credit card resets the clock, so even if you transfer now and don't book right away, your miles won't be at risk.
