Marriott Bonvoy Moments is offering T20 World Cup 2026 tickets, from 1-point flash sales to hospitality suites to a free Golden Ticket sweepstakes. Here's everything that's available and how to earn the points you need.
Most people use hotel loyalty points for free hotel stays. That makes sense. But Marriott Bonvoy has a program called Moments where you can use your points for experiences instead: concerts, F1 races, sports events, exclusive dinners.
And right now, they're offering ICC T20 World Cup 2026 tickets through it.
India vs Pakistan in Colombo, hospitality suites in Delhi and Mumbai, even a "Golden Ticket" package to the Final. All available through Marriott Bonvoy points.

What is Marriott Bonvoy Moments?
Marriott Bonvoy is Marriott's loyalty program. If you've ever stayed at a Marriott, Westin, Sheraton, W Hotel, or any of their 30+ hotel brands, you've probably been asked to sign up.
Moments is the part of the program where instead of redeeming points for hotel nights, you bid on experiences. Think of it like an auction house, but instead of cash, you're using Marriott points.
They've done this for F1 races, music festivals, and football matches before. Now it's cricket's turn. Marriott has an official ICC partnership that runs through 2029, so this isn't a one-off thing.
What's Available for the T20 World Cup 2026
Marriott has put over 500 packages on the Moments platform for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament runs from February 7 to March 8 across six venues in India (Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Kolkata) and Sri Lanka (Kandy, Colombo).
There are a few different types of packages:
1-Point Drops
These are flash sales where a small number of ticket packages go live for just 1 Marriott Bonvoy point each. On February 2, about 10 sets of India vs Pakistan tickets (February 15, Colombo) were offered this way.
Each package included:
- 2 General Admission tickets at R Premadasa Stadium
- Ground transportation to and from a Marriott Bonvoy hotel
- Special access to the pre-match event at The Sheraton Colombo
They sell out in seconds. Literally seconds. But Marriott has confirmed that new experiences will continue to launch regularly, including more 1-point drops. So keep an eye out for other matches.
Auction Packages
Most of the 500+ packages work as auctions. You bid with your Marriott Bonvoy points, and the highest bidder wins. Starting bids go as low as 2,500 points for a pair of General Admission tickets.
The packages range across several tiers:
- General Admission: 2 or 4 tickets per package
- Hospitality Suite: Premium seating in the ICC Hospitality Suite with gourmet food and drinks, plus Marriott x ICC merchandise
- Beyond the Boundary: Field-level access during warm-ups, where you can watch the teams up close
- Anthem Kids Experience: Your child walks onto the field with the players during the national anthem
- Hospitality + Hotel: Bundles that include a hospitality ticket plus a stay at a nearby Marriott property
Packages are available across multiple matches and venues, not just India vs Pakistan. For example, there's an India vs Namibia hospitality suite package for the Delhi match on February 12 at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

The Golden Ticket
This is the big one. Marriott is giving away a "Golden Ticket" to the T20 World Cup Final on March 8, 2026.
The package includes:
- 2 hospitality tickets to the Final (in Ahmedabad or Colombo)
- 2-night hotel stay at a Marriott property
- Round-trip economy flights for two
- VIP hotel treatment including meals, drinks, and spa
- Ground transportation
- Signed merchandise
Total estimated value: around $6,350 USD.
There are two ways to win this:
- Points auction: The highest bidder gets one Golden Ticket package
- Free sweepstakes: Any Marriott Bonvoy member can enter for free at joinmarriottbonvoy.com/cricketgoldenticket. No points needed. The sweepstakes ends February 12, 2026.
That second one is worth paying attention to. You don't need a single Marriott point to enter. Just a free Bonvoy membership. And yes, India is on the eligibility list.
How to Get Marriott Bonvoy Points in India
All of this sounds great, but if you don't have Marriott points, you might be wondering how to actually get them.
The fastest route: if you have an American Express card in India, your Membership Rewards points transfer to Marriott Bonvoy at a 1:1 ratio. 5,000 Amex points become 5,000 Marriott points. The minimum transfer is just 100 points, and they go through pretty quickly.
HDFC Bank has also added Marriott Bonvoy as a transfer partner for their reward points.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
The India vs Pakistan match is in Colombo, not India. If you're an Indian passport holder, you'll need a Sri Lanka ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization). It's easy to get online, but don't leave it to the last minute.
There's a cap of 10 experiences per member. Even if you have a mountain of points, you can't buy everything on the platform.
This isn't just a 2026 thing. Marriott's ICC partnership runs through 2029. That means Champions Trophy, 50-over World Cup, and future T20 World Cups will likely have similar Moments offerings. If you miss out now, there will be more chances.
