Mag Miles now transfer to Vietnam Airlines LotusSmiles at a flat 1:1 ratio. This is our first airline transfer partner, and it's live in the app right now.

Vietnam Airlines might not be the first name that comes to mind for an airline partner. But they're part of SkyTeam, and that's where it gets interesting.

Why SkyTeam matters more than the airline name

Vietnam Airlines from India

Vietnam Airlines operates direct flights from four Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. All routes connect to Hanoi, and Delhi and Mumbai also have Ho Chi Minh City flights.

The Delhi and Mumbai routes use Boeing 787s and Airbus A350s, which means wide-body comfort and lie-flat business class on a roughly 5-hour flight. The Bengaluru and Hyderabad routes (both added in May 2025) run on the narrower A321.

If you're planning a Vietnam trip, this is the most straightforward use of your Mag Miles. Fly direct from your city, no connections needed.

The credit card double dip

If you already have a credit card that earns rewards, Mag Miles stack on top of whatever your card gives you. Buy an Amazon gift card on Magnify with your Infinia or Atlas, and you've earned Mag Miles from Magnify plus reward points from your card. Same purchase, both earn.

If you don't have a premium card, Mag Miles work just fine with UPI. That's kind of the whole point.
